Two-Bedroom Villa:
Our two-bedroom villas are a huge 102
square metres, with two rooms both with on suite bathrooms and a lounge area.
All are ground floor villas with private terraces.
Studio Villa:
The Studio Villas are 67 square
metres, with king size beds, a sitting area and a private terrace. All situated
in small clusters.
Studio Rooms:
The Studio rooms 63 square metre are
in groups of four, some ground and some first floor. Spacious rooms with sitting
areas and large terraces or balconies.
Al Nahda Resort - Restaurants:
Khalab Restaurant,
is our main dining area, fully air conditioned with great views. Offering a
choice of International Cusine it is open all day.
Nozha
– This is your chance to dine Alfresco, with its wood burning oven and charcoal
barbeque it shows off some of our simplest but tastiest dishes.
Lazeez
– Our fine dining restaurant offers a tantalizing selection of dishes from Far
East Asia.
Samar
– An Arabic experience where all guests sit around on the tent floor and enjoy
the food of Sheiks, open for dinner only, it provide a unique environment to
enjoy the Taste of Arabia.
Pool Bar
– Light snacks, great cocktails & mocktails from 10 until sundown.
Waha
– Situate on the first floor with music and live entertainment programmes it is
the ideal setting for pre & post dinner drinks. During the day it provides an
ideal space to sit and read or just relax (sorry no newspapers)!

Desert Dune Camp:
Remember Lawrence of Arabia, those
magnificent tents and the spectacular views, all in the middle of the desert!
Well, just a short distance from Al Nahda, we have recreated a camp. Spend a
night in a traditional Barasti Hut at our desert dune camp. Enjoy a barbeque,
sitting around the camp fire, surrounded by camels, wild gazelle and gaze at the
night sky. This is an experience of a lifetime.
Diving Dimaniyat:
The Dimaniyat Islands are the jewels
in the crown for diving in the Gulf of Oman. We have teamed up with Oman’s
premier dive company Global Scuba centre for diving the Dimaniyat.These tiny
islands lie about 18 km off the Batinah Coast and are Oman's only marine
National Reserve protected by UNESCO for over 20 years. Diving here is
spectacular. Coral reefs cover up to 70% of the dive sites seabed with more than
a hundred different species of soft and hard coral. With marine life varying
from sting-rays, occasional turtles, Leopard sharks and on rare occasions you
can come across the whale shark. Dolphin Diving is just 20 minutes by boat from
the southern islands from their base in The Civil Aviation Club. We can also
arrange other dive locations, dolphin watching and PADI courses.
Elephant & Camel Rides:
Housed in the adjoining 60 acres, our small group of Elephants which were
imported from Thailand provide an fantastic photo opportunity or maybe even the
ride of your life! Each Elephant complete with Mahout has been trained at
Ayutthaya Elephant Park a short trip from Bangkok. Arabia is famous for its
camels, known as the ships of the desert they are a very important of Omani life
even today. Came racing is taken very seriously and a fast camel is worth tens
of thousands of rials. We have a small caravan of camels so you too can travel
by desert ship.
Orchid Farm & Green House Tour:
Barka may not only famous for it Omani Sweet (Hawa) but also it has a hidden
treasure and that is an Orchid Farm, the only one in Oman. Also take this
opportunity to view the working greenhouses that supply not only the resort but
many other institutions and shops in Oman.
Perfumery &
Factory Tour:
Teeb is a very famous brand of perfume both in Oman and overseas known for high
quality toiletries and perfumes. We are fortunate to be situated just a short
distance away from their perfumery, a chance to view a working still!
On the same site you can also visit the ketchup and hot sauce factory and take
home a bottle you saw being made!
