Be careful of the white top sharks, hammer head sharks or the goatfish!! The game fishing works on a catch and release systems for all fish caught, if the fish are not too young, too old or endangered and you request for it to be brought back to the resort this will be possible. One fish per villa.
  The chef will prepare your fish to your liking in Dining on the Sand on the same day or the following day you caught the fish.

The use of henna is not limited to women. It is also applied to the palms, soles and fingernails of children and men and may be used to dye men's beards.

  This is the traditional Arabic guitar that is still used today. Come learn to play a few notes and experience what very few people have had the opportunity to listen.

• Story Telling:
  It is some thing that we remember as a child, it is some thing mums and dads do to our children during the day or just before bed time. We all have a small piece of child imagination in us that is earning for more untold stories. Listen to the Arabic adventure stories told by the locals whom; in there broken English will create a land of mystery wonder, hero's and villains. Today many storytellers can still be found in the Middle East. Experience a taste of this ancient tradition and eavesdrop on stories from the old coffee houses of Muscat and Kasab.

  You may have paraglided down from the Hajar Mountains to Zighy Bay when you arrived, if you didn't, we don't blame you as we can totally understand your fear. • Tour of Al Bidiya Mosque, Fujairah Fort and Fujairah Museum:
  This adventure will take you to UAE's oldest still functioning place of worship(Bidiya Mosque). Then its off to Fujairah Fort, which over looks the old village that still stands. This fort was believed to be constructed between 1500-1550. Finally you will get to see some very interesting artifacts dating from as early as the 3rd millennium B.C. at the Fujairah Museum.

• Friday market:
  The Friday Market outside of Masafi attracts visitors from all over the UAE. Carpets and Gulf pottery line the sides of the highway, an irresistible pull to bargain hunters and souvenir seekers. In addition to machine-made carpets and mass-produced pottery, the discriminating shopper can find one-of-a-kind handmade goods.

• BBQ On The Beach:
  Enjoy your time with your friends at your villa, Zighy beach or on a private beach. While one of our chefs prepare your meal in front of you.

• Zighy Souk:
  Our very own Omani villa and craft shop. Join us with the local residents for afternoon tea and Omani sweets in the Zighy souk. Preparing Halwa, a confectionery made from starch, eggs, sugar, water, ghee, saffron, cardamom, nuts and rosewater from the Jebel Akhdar Mountains. Halwa is a symbol of traditional Omani Hospitality.

• Afternoon tea In Dibba Oman:
  Join us on a short trip across the Hajar Mountains to the local town of Dibba. Located in the southeast of the Governorate, is characterised by its vast fjords in which fishing boats take refuge during storms.

• Hiking:
  We offer an experience not to be missed come and join one of our hosts as they take you through the mountains, through wadi's & old abandon villages. We have a variety of different hikes to interest anyone.

• Dibba Musandam by Bike:
  Starting at the Dibba ports we travel south along the cost line, passing local houses, children playing and a number of mosques along the way. Dibba is a fairly small town with wide roads and all areas being very safe for children and tourists a like. Stop at the Dibba fish and vegetable markets and be greeted by the locals and there products. With your assistance we will barter for fresh fish, a colorful array of fruit and vegetables to make a meal for kings and queens. Take your time to stroll through the markets and local shops.

• Visit Fishing Village:
  Just next to Evason Hideaways and Six Senses Spa at Zighy Bay, one will find the charming local village.

• Archeological Journey:
  A brief survey of archaeological sites along the west coast of the Musandam Peninsula of Northern Oman was undertaken. Despite limitations imposed by the very rugged terrain, the survey yielded interesting results, including the discovery of about two dozen settlement-sites, ranging from homesteads to small villages, a variety of pre-Islamic burial cairns, and a number of petroglyphs depicting armed men on horseback, animals and boats.
