The DUBAI INTERNATIONAL MARINE CLUB, DIMC, now a facility of the all new watersports powerhouse five star LE MERIDIEN MINA SEYAHI RESORT & MARINA, is home of OCEAN EXPLORER, the 2nd best sailfish boat in the world, and OCEAN LUHR, the other boat of the world famous fisherman Andre DeMaré.

Ocean Luhr is a 34 ft. (10.62 mtr.) luhrs sport-fisherman with a 13 ft. (4 mtr.) beam as a stable fishing platform. Power is from twin 250 HP Detroit Diesels giving a cruising speed of 25 mph (42 kph). The boat has an air-conditioned cabin and two double berths, toilet, shower and galley, what makes it the perfect boat for overnight trips, also to the Emirates´ East Coast to maybe even catch some Marlin.  

The boat is equipped with G.P.S., eco-sounders, outriggers, downriggers and center rigger and has all safety equipment required by U.A.E. law. Fishing tackle consists of 12, 20, 30 and 50lbs outfits. Fly fishing tackle is available on request. This boat normally fishes with nine rods, two on outrigger, two on tag line, one on center rigger and two on flat lines.

Being one of the three best charter boats in Dubai, with this boat you go out for sailfish, barracuda, shark, queenfish, long tail tuna, kingfish, trevally and cobia.

Eight  (US$ 550.00) to ten (US$ 600.00) hour trips are recommended for sailfish trips. Channel and wreck fishing will take four (US$ 450.00) to six (US$ 500.00) hours. Each boat can take a maximum of six pax, whether fishermen or just company.
