DAY 01: ARRIVE MUSCAT
You will arrive at the Seeb International
Airport. Upon your arrival you proceed straight to the Immigration. Immigration
& customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the General arrival lounge you
will be met by our friendly & efficient Bahwan Tours chauffer / guide who will
assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you the hotel.

DAY 02: IN MUSCAT
After breakfast 08:30 HRS you will meet
your tour guide who will escort you to the comforts of our vehicle to proceed
for a tour of the Muscat city. Our experienced guide will give you an insight of
the country. The tour starts with a visit to the NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUMS with
flora & fauna which boasts of a giant fossil. From here proceed for a visit of
the GRAND MOSQUE (open for visitors from sat to wed 8-11 AM only, except the
holidays) which is one the largest mosques in the world with beautiful art
works, chandelier & a one piece carpet covering the entire prayer hall measuring
approx 4300 square meters. After the visit continue your drive to the “AL ALAM
PALACE” (visit stop only – photography is not permitted) flanked by the two
Portuguese Forts of “JALALI & MIRANI”. Continue your drive along the corniche
waterfront to the “MUTTRAH SOUQ”, one of the oldest souqs in Oman. The narrow
alleys of the souq and the smell of the mystic frankincense and sandalwood in
the air are typical of this souq. After the visit return to your vehicles to
drive back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 03: MUSCAT / NIZWA /
BAHLA / JABRIN / NIZWA
After breakfast at 0800 hrs you will
check-out and proceed to Nizwa. You will drop in your baggage at your hotel in
Nizwa & proceed on a tour to the OASIS CITY OF NIZWA, which was once the capital
of “JULANDA DYNASTY” in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most
popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort. Visit
the NIZWA FORT with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by
“IMAM SULTAN BIN SAIF AL YA'ARUBA” to defend the route to the interior. The fort
dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access
to the top is only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy
wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's
eye view of the Nizwa city. From here there is only a short walk to the NIZWA
SOUQ which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved "KHANJAR" and ornately
designed silver Jewellery. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is
held. The atmosphere is electric. After the tour proceed to the JABRIN FORT,
en-route, stopping at BAHLA for a photograph of the BAHLA FORT, now a World
Heritage Site. Arrive at JABRIN to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castle
built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning. This
castle has extremely well planned layouts with room for the “Wali” - the ladies
room, the kitchen, the “MAJLIS” etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with
beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is
really mesmerising. Also visit the ruins of TANUF and see the FALAJ SYSTEM which
is still in operation. After quite an eventful day return to the hotel.

DAY 04: IN NIZWA
After breakfast proceed on a tour to MISFAH
a village in the mountain seemingly hewn out of rock. The houses cling to the
rocks, this looks precarious but it has been here for centuries. You will park
your car at the entrance of the village and then walk into the village. A short
walk through the village will bring you out looking down at the Falaj and water
pools which is still used for washing. After a short visit you will return to
your vehicle to continue your drive to the village of AL HAMRA before proceeding
to JABEL SHAMS, the highest peak in Oman at over 3,000 meters. Jabel Shams means
“Mountain of the Sun” and its old name is JABEL AL QANAH. The area is home to
weavers of heavy woollen rugs in distinctive colours. It is here where you can
enjoy your picnic lunch (own arrangement by clients). Take a walk to see the
GRAND CANYON before returning to your vehicle to drive back to the hotel where
you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 05: NIZWA / SINAW / IBRA
/ WAHIBA SANDS
After breakfast you will check-out and
proceed to IBRA. We also stop to visit SINAW. Lunch at a local restaurant
(payment direct by clients). Thereafter we drive to arrive at the desert. On
arrival at the desert entry point your 4WD will embark on the drive to the
desert camp site through the desert taking in the spectator desert terrain, the
great desert of Oman known as “RUMLAT AL WAHIBA” where our expert driver will
give you the thrill of driving over the undulating dunes. After enjoying the
dune driving you will continue to the Desert Camp site. Enjoy your evening under
the star studded sky.

DAY 06: WAHIBA / WADI BANI
KHALID / SUR
After breakfast you will proceed for
another round of dune bashing before bidding goodbye to the inhabitants of the
desert to proceed to WADI BANI KHALID which stands out in contrast to the desert
with dates and palm trees plantation with clear water pools. After having spent
sometime here you will proceed to town of Sur where you are booked at the Sur
Plaza Hotel. In the late evening we proceed to RAS AL HADD to see the green back
turtles coming to the beach (not every visit is guaranteed that we would see the
turtles coming ashore). After spending some time here you will drive back to the
hotel.

DAY 07: SUR / WADI SHAAB /
QURIYAT / MUSCAT / OUT
Breakfast at the hotel. At 0830 hrs you
will be met by your guide in the lobby and proceed to Muscat. You will drive
along the coast to arrive at 'WADI SHAAB ', SHAAB in Arabic literally means
'Ravine between Cliffs". Proceed to the white beach where you could take the
opportunity of swimming in the Omani Waters. It is here where you will be served
picnic lunch boxes (on direct payment). Continue the drive along the coast line
which offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman
offset pristine beaches. You will drive past the port of QURIYAT which is still

DAY 01 ARRIVE MUSCAT
You will arrive at the Seeb International
Airport. Upon your arrival you proceed straight to the Immigration counter.
Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the General arrival
lounge you will be met by our friendly & efficient Bahwan Tours chauffer / guide
who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you the hotel.

DAY 02 IN MUSCAT
After breakfast you will be met by a
representative from the RENT A CAR COMPANY at 09:00 hrs who will hand over the
vehicle to you. Later, at a pre-fix time, one of our representatives will meet
you at the hotel lobby to hand over the vouchers for your accommodation and a
map. He/she will discuss the program with you in detail. Later you proceed on
your own tour of the Muscat city. The tour starts with the visit to the NATURAL
HISTORY MUSEUMS with flora & fauna and which boasts of a giant fossil. From here
proceed for a visit of the GRAND MOSQUE (open for visitors from 08:00HRS TO
11:00HRS Saturday to Wednesday only – closed on Thursdays / Fridays and
Holidays) which is one the largest mosque in the world with beautiful art works,
chandelier & a one piece carpet covering the entire prayer hall measuring approx
4300 square meters (now in the Guinness book of world record).After the visit
continue your drive to the AL ALAM PALACE (visit stop only – Photography Is Not
Permitted) flanked by the two Portuguese Forts of “JALALI & MIRANI”. Afterwards
drive along the corniche waterfront to the MUTTRAH SOUQ, one of the oldest souq
in Oman. The narrow alleys of the souq and the smell of the mystic frankincense
and sandalwood in the air are typical of this souq. After the visit, return to
your vehicle to drive back to the hotel.

DAY 03 MUSCAT / NIZWA / BAHLA / JABREEN /
NIZWA
After breakfast at 0800 hrs you will
check-out and proceed to Nizwa. You will drop in your baggage at your hotel in
Nizwa & proceed on a tour of the OASIS CITY OF NIZWA, which was once the capital
of “JULANDA DYNASTY” in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most
popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort. Visit
the NIZWA FORT with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by
“IMAM SULTAN BIN SAIF AL YA'ARUBA” to defend the route to the interior. The fort
dominates the entire area with the town having grown around the edifice. Access
to the top is only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy
wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's
eye view of the Nizwa city. From here there is only a short walk to the NIZWA
SOUQ which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved "KHANJAR" and ornately
designed silver Jewellery. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is
held. The atmosphere is electric. After the tour proceeds to the JABRIN FORT,
en-route stopping at BAHLA for a photograph of the BAHLA FORT, now a World
Heritage Site. Arrive at JABRIN to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castle
built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning .This
castle has extremely well planned layouts with room for the “Wali” - the ladies
room, the kitchen, the “MAJLIS” etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with
beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is
really mesmerising. Also visit the ruins of TANUF and see the FALAJ SYSTEM which
is still in operation. After quite an eventful day return to the hotel.

DAY 04 IN NIZWA
After breakfast proceed on a tour to
MISFAH, a village in the mountain seemingly hewn out of rock. The houses cling
to the rocks, this looks precarious but it has been there for centuries. You
will park your car at the beginning of the village. A short walk through the
village will bring you out looking down at the Falaj and water pools which is
still used for washing. After a short visit you will return to your vehicles to
continue your drive to the village of AL HAMRA before proceeding to JABEL SHAMS,
the highest peak in Oman at over 3,000 meters. Jabel Shams means “Mountain of
the Sun” and its old name is JABEL AL QANAH. The area is home to weavers of
heavy woollen rugs in distinctive colours. It is here where you can enjoy your
picnic lunch (own arrangement). Take a walk to see the GRAND CANYON before
returning to your vehicle to drive back to the hotel where you can spend the
rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 05 NIZWA / SINAW /
IBRA / WAHIBA SANDS
After breakfast you will check-out and
proceed to IBRA. We also stop to visit SINAW. Lunch at a local restaurant
(payment direct by clients). Thereafter we drive to arrive at the desert. On
arrival at the desert entry point your 4WD will embark on the drive to the
desert camp site through the desert taking in the spectator desert terrain, the
great desert of Oman known as “RUMLAT AL WAHIBA” where our expert driver will
give you the thrill of driving over the undulating dunes. After enjoying the
dune driving you will continue to the Desert Camp site. Enjoy your evening
under the start studded sky.

DAY 06 WAHIBA / WADI BANI
KHALID / SUR
After breakfast you will proceed for
another round of dune bashing before bidding goodbye to the inhabitants of the
desert to proceed to WADI BANI KHALID which stands out in contrast to the desert
with dates and palm trees plantation with clear water pools. After having spent
some time here you will proceed to town of Sur where you are booked at the Sur
Plaza Hotel. In the late evening we proceed to RAS AL HADD to see the green back
turtles coming to the beach (not every visit is guaranteed that we would see the
turtles coming ashore). After spending some time here you will drive back to the
hotel.

DAY 07 SUR / WADI SHAAB /
QURIYAT / MUSCAT / OUT
Breakfast at the hotel. You will drive
along the coast to arrive at 'WADI SHAAB ', SHAAB in Arabic literally means
'Ravine between Cliffs". Proceed to the white beach where you could take the
opportunity of swimming in the Omani water. It is here that you will be served
picnic lunch boxes (on direct payment). Continue the drive along the coast line
which offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman
offset pristine beaches. You will drive past the port of QURIYAT which is still

DAY 01 MUSCAT / NAKHAL / BILAD SAIT / AL

After breakfast 0800 hrs you will meet your
tour guide and the drivers will escort you to the waiting 4 wheel drive which
you will board for a soft adventure tour. Arrive at Nakhal and visit the Nakhal
Fort. This fort once served the Imams of Bani Kharous and the Ya'arubah dynasty.
After recent restoration work carried out, it is refurbished with the
traditional furniture, handicrafts and historic relics. The ceilings, the doors
and the windows are decorated with beautiful carvings. The view from the
roof-top is very impressive and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding
landscape. The old village of Nakhal, which nestles below the fort, gradually
leads to the famous warm springs of Nakhal situated at the end of an attractive
Oasis. Relax by the side of the shallow waters of the springs surrounded by lush
green date plantations and steep mountain peaks. After the visit proceed to
Bilad Sait through the foot hills of Jabal Akdhar Mountain. Cross the mountain
and arrive at Al Hamra and proceed to Jabal Shams
Overnight at the Jabal shams camp site. (
basic camp with basic facilities). They have 5 proper rooms with attached
toilets and rest all rooms are with common toilet.
Day 02 JABAL SHAMS/
NIZWA / IBRA / WAHIBA SANDS
After breakfast you will explore the
various villages scattered around on the mountain and proceed to Nizwa.
You will drive to the Oasis city of Nizwa
and then continue on a tour of the Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower
built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend
the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area with the town
having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of
a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal.
From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa city. From
here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its intricately
hand-carved Khanjar and ornately designed silver Jewelry. Here on a Friday a
unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere here is electric.
Continue your drive to the Jabrin castle en-route to Nizwa. The castle, the
finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of
Omani learning .This castle has extremely well planned layouts with rooms for
the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are
decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of
the castle is really mesmerizing. You will stop en-route at the Bahla Fort for a
photograph of the fort which is listed under the UNESCO’s list of world heritage
site.
Lunch at a local restaurant ( own expense)
After lunch proceed to Wahiba Sands which
is the home of Bedouins.
The 'Wahiba Sands' often described as a
perfect example of Sand Sea consists of large ranges of dunes running from North
to South, some attaining a height of about 100 mts and orange in colour. Our
experienced drivers will take you on a dune bashing tour through the undulating
sand dunes to experience the thrills of dune driving. Arrive at the pre arranged
camp site for overnight.

Day 03 WAHIBA SANDS /
WADI BANI KHALID /SUR / RAS AL JINZ
Breakfast at the camp site. Proceed to
Wadi Bani Khalid, which stands out like an oasis in the desert with clear green
natural spring water pools, before continuing to the Wahiba Sands which stands
out in stark contrast to Wadi Bani Khalid
After spending some time here proceed to
Sur town .Proceed to Ras Al Jinz and check in at the pre arranged camp site,
Dinner at the camp site. After dinner around 22:00 hrs leave for the famous
turtle beach to watch turtles laying their eggs and nesting.

Breakfast at the camp. Today’s tour along
the coast line from Sur to Quriyat offer a breath taking glimpses of the blue

Shaab literally means “ravine between cliffs “shallow green pools and abundant
shade give Wadi Shaab a perfect setting for a picnic. Continue drive to
Quriyat, a very large fishing village between lagoon and the sea. The port of

WD vehicle which will drive you through the desert to the Bedouin camp site. The
'WAHIBA SANDS' often described as a perfect example of a sand sea consists of
large ranges of dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of
about 100 meters and orange in colour. The WAHIBA SANDS is the home of the
traditional Bedouin tribe who are known for their hospitality and their
knowledge of the sands. After a short dune drive we arrive at the Desert Camp

many species of whales that can be found just a few kilometers from Muscat’s

DAY 01 MUSCAT / NAKHAL / BILAD SAIT / AL

After breakfast 0800 hrs you will meet your tour guide and the
drivers will escort you to the waiting 4 wheel drive which you will board for a
soft adventure tour. Arrive at Nakhal and visit the Nakhal Fort. This fort once
served the Imams of Bani Kharous and the Ya'arubah dynasty. After recent
restoration work carried out, it is refurbished with the traditional furniture,
handicrafts and historic relics. The ceilings, the doors and the windows are
decorated with beautiful carvings. The view from the roof-top is very impressive
and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The old village of
Nakhal, which nestles below the fort, gradually leads to the famous warm springs
of Nakhal situated at the end of an attractive Oasis. Relax by the side of the
shallow waters of the springs surrounded by lush green date plantations and
steep mountain peaks. After the visit proceed to Bilad Sait through the foot
hills of Jabal Akdhar Mountain. Cross the mountain and arrive at Al Hamra.
Visit the old mud houses at al Hamra and proceed to Nizwa.

DAY 02 FULL DAY AT NIZWA
After breakfast at 0800 hrs you will drive to the Oasis city
of Nizwa and then continue on a tour of the Nizwa fort with its enormous round
tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to
defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area with the
town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by
means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with
metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa
city. From here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its
intricately hand-carved Khanjar and ornately designed silver Jewelry. Here on a
Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere here is
electric. Continue your drive to the Jabrin castle en-route to Nizwa. The
castle, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th Century, which
became a seat of Omani learning .This castle has extremely well planned layouts
with rooms for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of
the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The
view from the top of the castle is really mesmerizing. You will stop en-route at
the Bahla Fort for a photograph of the fort which is listed under the UNESCO’s
list of world heritage site. After the visit drive back to the hotel.

DAY 03 NIZWA / SINAW / IBRA / WAHIBA SANDS

After breakfast you will check-out and
proceed to Ibra. You will meet your 4 wheel drivers who will escort you to the

Time permitting you will stop at the old town of Sinaw. After local lunch you
will proceed to the great desert of Oman known as “Rumlat Al Wahiba” where our
expert driver will give you the thrill of driving over the undulating dunes.
After enjoying the dune driving, you will bid goodbye to the inhabitants of the
desert to proceed to the town of Sur. You will check-in at Sur Plaza hotel.

to arrive at 'Wadi Shaab ', Shaab in Arabic, literally means 'Ravine between
Cliffs Proceed to the white beach where you could take the opportunity of
swimming in the Omani Waters. After spending some time here, continue your drive
along the coast line which offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of
the Gulf of Oman that offsets pristine white beaches . You will drive past the

their looks and the Taqa Castle before proceeding to Samhuram. Samhuram is a
famous port from where the frankincense trade used to take place. Excavations
here have found coins and manuscripts in Arabic. You will see the remains of
Queen Sheba's Palace on top of a small hill overlooking the Khor Rawri. The
drive along the coastal road takes you to the old city of Mirbat where the
Arabian Horses & slaves trade used to take place. You will see as well the
Mirbat Castle overlooking the sea. A walk into the town shows you some old and
beautiful merchant houses with carved doors and windows. Afterwards you will
return to your vehicle to drive back to Salalah. En-route stop at the beautiful
garden of Ain Arzat from where the Royal Farm is still supplied with water.
A tour of West Salalah visiting Job's tomb
also known as the mosque & tomb shrine of " Nabi-Ayuob" marks the place where
the remains of the Moslem Prophet possibly identified as Job of Old Testament
are enshrined. Drive on to Mughsail Beach, which stretches over four kms with
high cliffs on either side. You can also see the blowholes, which are worn into
slabs, and during high tides you see the water bursting out of these holes. Khor
Mughsail has an abundance of bird life in the season for e.g. flamingos,
pelicans, storks etc. The tour ends with a visit to the Frankincense tree known
as the "Holy Incense".

region. We drive through the greenery of Coconut and Banana plantations. Visit
the footprints of Prophet Saleh’s Camel and the tomb of Nabi Omran. Proceed to
the Heritage souq where you can find different types of Omani crafts and incense
burners. A visit to the New souq will give you an exact view of the Arabian
market. Drive to the Gold souq offers modern and old style Dhofari ornaments.
On the way to Al Hafa you can see some typical Dhofari houses with carved
windows and doors. Walking by the sultan’s residential palace Al Husn, you
reach the old souq where the Frankincense, Dhofari traditional clothes and
cosmetics are available. Before returning to the hotel visit the ancient city of
Zufar.

with respect to khasab fort built by the portuguese in 16th centuary and later
drive to wadi tawi to see the pre-historical rock paintings depecting camel,

Day 2 - Friday
After breakfast, transfer to Khasab harbour
for half day dhow cruise to the fjords of Musandam exploring small fishing
villages, famous telegraphic island, possible to swim and snorkel at telegraphic
island, possible to see dolphins. drinks, fruits provided on board.
At 1300 hrs back to harbour and transfer to
Golden Tulip Hotel.
At 1430 hrs transfer to Khasab airport to
board flight to Muscat.
Arrive Muscat and connect flight for onward
destination or extend stay at Muscat.
