Arrival into Muscat. Meet and transfer to the Crowne Plaza Muscat for
your overnight stay.

Our tour of the Natural History Museum is a brief introduction
that traces Oman's history and development. Drive through the elegant
residential Shatti Al Qurum Area. Continue for a photostop of the
magnificent Al Alam Palace, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos
flanked by the 16th century
Portuguese forts, Mirani & Jalali and the colourful Muttrah Souq.

03
Breakfast. 0800 hrs. Visit
the Oman Museum. proceed to the Seeb Fish Souq located by the
seaside. Drive to Al Hazm Fort. Later drive through the date palms
and stop at the Nakhl sparkling
springs and Nakhl fort.
Overnight stay at Crowne Plaza Resort Al Sawadi.

04
Breakfast. 0800 hrs
Depart for Nizwa visiting Birkat Al Mauz village via Fanja. Jabrin,the
finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th century,became a seat of
Omani
learning. the castle displays the highest achievement in Omani ceiling painting
& beautifully executed wood carvings. Check-in at Falaj Daris Hotel.
1500 hrs
Depart for the famous Round Tower Fort, built in the 17th century,
and its Souq, popular for its intricately hand-carved "khanjars"
(daggers) & ornamental silver jewellery.
Overnight stay at Falaj Daris Hotel.

Breakfast.
Am at leisure.
1200 hrs
Depart for Seeb International airport for the flight WY 403 at 1600 hrs for
Salalah
1730hrs
Transfer to Salalah Holiday Inn Hotel.
Overnight stay at Hilton Salalah.

06
Breakfast. 0800 hrs Visit
the biblical "NABI AYOUB" prophet's Job's tomb, perched high up
in the "jebel" (mountains). Enroute are spectacular views of
the plains, mountain landscape and emerald
green pasture land. proceed to Mughsail
Beach
where you witness "blow-holes" - (perforations in the limestone
rock) with sea water gushing through during high tide. experience the Hairpin
Bend Roads for approximately
15/20 kms which will take you to a wadi. The views are breathtaking due to the
heights involved. this is the road leads to the Yemen border.at the nearby bird
sanctuary, one may see seasonal birds.enroute, the stark shape of leafless Frankincense
Trees dot the landscape.Once traded as a commodity more precious than gold,
frankincense harvested in Dhofar is rated the best in the world. Pm. at leisure.

Breakfast. 0800 hrs
Visit
the fishing village of Taqa, an old
town with an interesting castle surrounded by watch towers and Taqa stone houses.
Proceed onward to Khor Rori creek, the site of the ruined city of
Samhuram, capital of ancient
Arabia's exotic frankincense trade. Excavations have produced
evidence of an ancient city with trade links by sea to Far
Easterndestinations and with even distant greece. Mirbat, the ancient
capital of Dhofar, was an important town as
early as the 9th century for it's trade in
frankincense, horses and slaves. See some of the old houses famous for
its wood carvings. If lucky see boat loads
of fish arriving into the harbour. One of
dhofar's best known historic sites is Bin Ali's Tomb. The twin
dome structure, tomb of Mohamed Bin Ali who died in 1135 AD is a fine
example of medieval architecture. Return via Ayn Razat, the
manicured gardens fed by natural underground springs.

Transfer to the airport for your flight WY 404 departing at 1830 hrs to
Muscat which arrives at 2000 hrs.
